Nursery rhymes teach: phonological awareness (the sound structure of language), rhyme and rhythm, vocabulary, builds background knowledge, and communication skills. This class is a flexible schedule class based off of my ongoing Preschool Circle Time class. This is designed to be watched when works best for you. This class style is ideal for families with busy schedules. At the beginning of each week, two prerecorded videos that are about 25 minutes will be posted (8 lessons in total over the 4 week period). Each lesson will be themed with a different nursery rhyme. These videos can be viewed multiple times when works best with your busy schedule. These lessons will offer a variety of ways to learn: singing, stories, comprehension questions, interactive game, and a craft. Each lesson we will have a welcome and goodbye song, a different guessing game created to practice colors, numbers, letters or shapes, ending with a craft that we will complete together that focuses on strengthening their fine motor skills. Students will share their crafts with the teacher. During these 8 lessons your child will practice: rhyming, letters, shapes, numbers, counting and fine motor skills. Week 1: Mary had a Little Lamb & Little Bo Peep Week 2: Humpty Dumpty & Jack and Jill Week 3: Hickory Dickory Dock & Hey Diddle Diddle Week 4: Itsy Bitsy Spider & Jack be Nimble

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! My name Tiffany. I hope to see your children in my classroom. I will be offering lots of preschool circle time classes, along with beginning reading, phonemic awareness, early math, fine motor practice, art, and more.
I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education with my English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement and my state level 2 teaching license. I previously taught first grade in a public school, taught English to children in China, was a reading interventions for grades K-3 and I am currently the owner/teacher of my own preschool.
“Play is the highest form of research.” — Albert Einstein. I strongly believe that children learn best through hands on learning and play. I teach my classes based on this philosophy. My lessons focus on the whole child and include play, movement, creativity and development.
I have been married for 11 years. I am a mom of three children under the age of seven, two boys and a girl. Something I never thought I’d say is I have two pet goats named Bilbo and Frodo (my husband is a huge Lord of the Rings fan), we also have a pet husky named Rufio.
