Description
Class Experience
In this class I will be starting off with a read aloud. We can then have a quick discussion about the story after. We will then move on to our print out activities which parents will need to provide for their child prior to class. These activities will be different each week but will generally include early reading and writing, early maths, and some simple arts and crafts/colouring. So please bring along pens or pencils, scissors and glue along to class. We will then finish off with a song,...
Children will learn critical listening skills and taking turns to speak. They will be introduced to plenty of stimulation through colourful books which change each week. Early reading, writing and maths skills will be incorporated with the print off activities as well as having my support with letter and number formation. No problem if you’re child cannot form any letters or numbers yet, just holding a pen or pencil and making marks on paper is brilliant preparation for writing! Fun songs and nursery rhymes are brilliant for teaching children language, repetition, rhythm and creativity!

There will be no homework for this class, however you are very welcome to finish off any unfinished work after class.
Print offs, pens/pencils, scissors, glue, musical instrument.
There will be no assessments for this class as it’s all based on early learning skills and having fun.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

I will provide print off activities which will need to be printed off prior to class, (approximately 4 sheets). Parents will also need to provide pens or pencils, scissors, glue and a musical instrument. (Parents or an older sibling may need to assist if the child cannot yet use scissors, or cut out shapes or pictures prior to class).
