Class Experience
In this fun interactive preschool class, we'll work on developmentally-appropriate math skills. Some of these skills include: number recognition, counting, building a pattern, sorting by size/color/shape, one-to-one correspondence (where a student can point to individual items and say a number for each item, counting up as they go), and simple measurement. We'll work on these skills through songs and fun games and actvities. Students will need something to use as math counters for this...
- Math Skills - Language Development - Fine and Gross Motor Skills - Self Regulation/Impulse Control
Students will need some sort of math counters (blocks, little cars, mini erasers, buttons, etc.) and crayons/pencils/markers and paper or a whiteboard and markers.
20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
