Description
Class Experience
I am a certified early childhood teacher and have worked with children ages 3-11 for 23 years in both a classroom setting and afterschool programs. I have also been involved with the cub scouts for 7 years and I own my own craft business.
September: - Painted apple tree- White paper, brown and green paint, and red paint, a q-tip and paint brushes. October Week of October 5th - Pumpkin vines- light colored paper, pom pom (to use as a stamp. might help to put a clothes pin on it), green crayon or marker, orange paint - Pumpkin people- orange, black and green paper, scissors and glue Week of October 12th - Pinecone painting- any color paper, any color paint, a plate to put the paint on and pinecones or other items from outside to paint with. - Pumpkin painting- pumpkin any size and paint Week of October19- Pumpkin wreath- paper plate, orange paper or orange tissue paper, glue, scissors, brown and green paper - 5 little pumpkins- black paper, glue, pop sickle sticks , yellow and orange paper, and black marker. (May also use stickers for the pumpkins Week of October 26 - Straw painting- Pieces of straw tied together to use as a paint brush, paper and paint any color. - scarecrow puppet- Brown lunch bag, different colors of paper, glue, scissors and markers. May also use button or anything else to decorate the scarecrows clothes.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Learners will need help with materials and supplies like scissors and glue.
