Class experience
We will open the class by taking turns going around and introducing ourselves. This builds both language and listening skills. Then we will look at the calendar. We will review the month, day, date, and year. When the students are ready, we will also discuss the season and practice patterns with either colors or shapes. Math - numbers, colors, shapes, calendar Literacy - parts of a physical book (cover, title, etc.), parts of a story (characters, setting, etc.) Communication and Social Skills - introductions, discussion, listening, taking turns Science - seasons, predictions, animals Social Studies - treating others with respect, diversity, occupations
I have 8 years experience teaching preschool and 7 years experience doing preschool childcare for an organization. I was formerly a preschool director before having children of my own.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
