Class Experience

Are you ready to learn about what happens to the leaves in fall?  In this class, we will learn and review fall colors through a fun scavenger hunt. Children will count backwards from 5 as we sing "Five Little Leaves" and act out the song.   We will pretend to crunch fallen leaves while playing a "Stomp the Leaf" game.  Children will need to have their listening ears turned up to follow the color directions and "freeze" on the correct leaf.  Bring a leaf that you found in your yard or on a...

Students will learn and review their colors. Students will learn about fall leaves and participate in turn taking for a show and tell. Students will practice counting backwards from 5.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Early Education.  I was a  preschool teacher for 10 years before staying home with my own children. I have 3.5 years experience online teaching.

Children should bring a leaf to class for show and tell.

Please bring a leaf to share during show and tell. Please also print the Leaf Stomp game and cut out the leaves.  We will be spreading them out on the floor to dance around and stomp on certain colors.

20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Children will be engaged with the teacher but parents may need to help with "muting" and "unmuting".
