US Grade Preschool
In this class we will rotate through preschool basics each week of the month. Week 1: Alphabet (letter recognition, letter sounds, upper and lower case) Week 2: Numbers (number recognition 1-20, simple math concepts, counting) Week 3: Colours and shapes (shapes recognition, colours recognition, colour mixing) Week 4: I will take the months most popular games and play them again in this class Welcome Song: This is the perfect way to break the ice and tell the learners it is time to put on their learning hats. Question of the Day: Each student will have a chance to answer and then we will chart all of our answers to see which answer was most popular Song: Depending on the week we will sing either a fun alphabet, number, shapes or colours themed song to get us ready to play our games. Game #1: This game will focus on the theme for that day. It will encourage your learner to think about our topic in a new and fun way. Game #2: This game will be one of the following; on Screen, active, or Scavenger hunt (kids will look around their environment and discover the item we are looking for) Being a preschool teacher for over 12 years I have accumulated many different fun and exciting interactive games. These games help reinforce all of the academical basics that learners will be learning in preschool. This is not an in-depth class of the monthly topics rather a fun way to review them.
