Class Experience
Preschool Cheerleading In this 5-Week Flex Class, young cheerleaders will learn the fundamentals of the sport of cheerleading to create a strong foundation for future progression within the sport. This Preschool Cheerleading Class is perfect for the young cheerleader without any experience, who is just beginning the sport. This class also caters to those with busy schedules, that do not fit into the current time offerings for live Cheerleading Class meetings, or who simply do not prefer to take live classes. FLEX classes allow students to take class anytime of the day or night, at the most convenient time for their schedules. The class will focus on beginner fundamental cheerleading skills including tumbling, jumps, and motions. Lesson Overview: All lessons will be approximately between 15 minutes long, beginning with stretching, and continuing onto tumbling jumps, and then finally, motions. Before ending each lesson, we will learn a brief routine incorporating our tumbling skill, jump, and motions of the day to begin working on choreography retention skills. Our final week of class (week 5) is review week, where we will briefly review all of the skills we learned together, and learn a brief routine incorporating many of these. HOMEWORK While there will be no required homework, cheerleaders are encouraged to post videos and pictures in our classroom page to showcase their progress, accomplishments, and any routines they create at home! Additionally, although this class is a Flex class, I still want to facilitate as much interaction as possible. If a learners has any questions, would like feedback, or is in need of any help with a skill, please reach out! I will gladly reply with a written or video message offering feedback, additional drills, exercises, tips, and tricks to help each learner achieve their goals! All class material and content for the upcoming week will be uploaded by Monday at 8:00 AM EST for students to begin practicing the content of the lesson, and working on this week's skills and conditioning.
