In this ongoing class, preschool students will learn about a new animal each week. Students will learn their physical characteristics, diet, habitat and interesting facts about each animal. Great for Preschool Students!

Class Experience

In this ongoing class students will learn about a new animal each week! Students will learn the physical characteristics, diet, habitat and interesting facts about different animals. 

This class is perfect for students who love to learn about different animals. Students will learn about the animal through games, pictures and videos. Students will also discuss if they would like to have this animal as a pet or not based on the facts we learned in the class.

Some animals we will learn about are koalas, llamas, sloths, zebras, reindeer, lions, flamingos, polar bears, penguins and many more!

Students will also get a coloring sheet of the animal to color during class.

Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Nicole Abercrombie and I am so excited to meet your student! I am a former 2nd grade teacher and elementary school counselor with seven years of teaching experience! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston and a Master's Degree in Education in School Counseling from Clemson University. I am certified to teach elementary education and school counseling in the state of South Carolina. After teaching second grade and being a school counselor, for many years, I decided to stay home with my baby girl and teach online! I have been teaching ESL online for a year and a half and love the virtual classroom!

My lessons are engaging, student focused and standards based. I have received training in both small group reading and math instruction. I am very passionate about teaching students the foundations of reading and math in a FUN way! My classes are full of student participation, games and educational content. Students will be having so much fun they won't even realize how much they are learning!
