Want to introduce your preschool or kindergarten aged child to watercolor painting, but not sure where to begin? In this flexible class, students age 3-6 will learn basic watercolor skills while exploring fascinating techniques! The projects are designed for students who have very little to no watercolor experience.

Week One:  “Rainbow Lines”
- Students will learn how to clean their brush between colors.

Week Two: “Sunset tree” 
-Student will learn how to make thin and thick lines with their brush

Week Three: “Under The Sea”
-Students will learn the salted and resist technique 

Week Four: “Geometric Tape Resist”
-Students will learn the tape resist technique 


Outschool flex class: No live meetings. A video will be posted each week which students may complete at their own pace whenever they wish

Expect 15-30 minutes of work each week. This will vary drastically depending on the student’s unique pacing, development and comfort with watercolor materials. I strongly encourage parents to assist their young children with this class. Due to the recorded format, a young 3-6 year old child may have trouble with technology such as pausing the video. Working together to learn is a powerful bonding moment and an opportunity to build creative confidence!
