At the beginning of class we will have a short introduction and a song, then we will read together a story. During the story, we will pause and discuss what is happening and the characters. Find out what happens when the three little rabbits go to a party,. Each child has an opportunity, if they choose, to talk about which characters they like and why, also what would they do in different situations. If a student doesn't want to share, that's great too. At the end we will discuss which part...
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn Dolch sight words and use simple addition and subtraction skills. Students will also use problem solving skills and discuss which one works most effectively. While reviewing each part of the story aids recall and understanding as well as make the class interactive, building confidence by sharing ideas and opinions.
At the end of class there is a print out which is a search and find activity and the written story.
The students don't need any materials, but they can bring a toy animal if they want to.
There is informal teacher feedback at the end of class.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
