This course is perfect for the super social student who just wants more friends to talk to as well as the shy student who needs a little more practice talking with kids their own age. It's a great way to prepare them for school or allow them to have a social aspect if they are homeschooled. 

This class will be an opportunity for students to chat with other students around the world. I will moderate the conversation, but allow the students to do most of the talking. I will make sure all students have an opportunity to be heard in every class. I will generally not be sharing my screen so students will be able to clearly see each other. I recommend you set their Zoom to gallery setting so they can see everyone at once.

I have worked with this age group in a professional setting and also have a 5-year-old myself! I like to have fun with my students. I am excited to see what they choose to talk about and discuss! In my experience, they love to show off their toys and magic tricks. I have a collection of questions ready to go if they run out of things to talk about.

Students do not need to have prior knowledge for this class.
