This class is taught by a degreed teacher with years of experience. It lasts for the entire year, but you can also jump in any time! *This is the exact Circle Time that I used in-person for public and private schools teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten. I have over twenty-five years of teaching experience. In this class, your child will get a Circle Time experience including Calendar Time & Weather. In addition, we cover a complete Preschool/Pre-K curriculum with lots of the concepts pulled...
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn one letter per day. They will learn what the letter looks and sounds like. They will also learn numbers, colors, shapes, science, and have story time. In addition, there is a theme each day such as apples, bears, community helpers...oceans...zoo.
There will be no official homework; however, you may use the Weekly Lesson plan to reinforce our learning and complete additional ideas related to our daily theme.
There are no materials needed, however, you may choose to download and print the blank letter of the day sheet to decorate. I will send these home each week. You can also find and print them free from kathyahutto.com. I will give students ideas on how to decorate the letter each day. For example, color letter A red like an apple and add black fingerprint ants.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner will be assessed informally during class by observing class participation and engagement.
3 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
