Preschool Alphabet Art : Small Group Art Class for Pre-K and Preschoolers
This engaging class focuses on creating fun art/craft projects based on the letters of the alphabet. We will discuss a new letter (name, upper and lower case, sound) and create a fun art project based on that letter.

This fun and engaging course will introduce preschool/pre-k learners to the alphabet while we create whimsical alphabet art. Class will begin with an introduction to the letter we are going to focus on. We will identify the upper and lower case of the letter, and discuss what sound the letter makes. Each student will take turns naming something they can think of that begins with the letter we are focusing on. The rest of the class time will be spent with the students being able to...
Students will learn to identify the letters of the alphabet as well as the sounds those letters make. They will work fine motor skills such as cutting, drawing, and coloring. Students will also develop social/emotional skills such as turn taking and interacting with peers appropriately.
Students will need to print the page(s) listed for each week. In addition, students will need: Colored Construction Paper Water Color Paint Markers Crayons Colored Pencils Glue (I suggest using glue sticks) Scissors I will post what material the project will require in the class tab, as well as any documents that need to be printed prior to class.
