This one-time course will help prepare your learner for the grammar section of the SAT test. Students will learn about foundational sentence errors and how to correct them. In this 75 minute class, learners will become aware of fragments, run-ons, and comma splices. They will learn how to identify them and how to correct them. Learners will also work on these topics in common SAT format to better prepare. Classes will also include slides (which can be sent to learners after the class is...
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn and understand the following grammar points of sentence errors commonly seen on the SAT test: --Fragments --Run-Ons --Comma Splices
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed through examples/practices and discussions in class as well as through homework assignments. Learners will work on multiple examples in class to help them practice the skill and receive sufficient feedback.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
