I have been a certified veterinary technician for more than 30 years, have a MEd from Colorado State University and I am now finishing up my second Master’s program and will have a Master of Veterinary Education (MVEd) from Lincoln Memorial University’s School of Veterinary Medicine by spring 2024. I have been teaching at local colleges in veterinary Assistant Programs and an equine studies program. I have also enjoyed teaching a variety of Veterinary Science programs for grades 3-5, 6-8, and high school summer programs in person and online. I am also a homeschool mom! At home, my family has 3 mini horses, a Paint horse, 4 Nigerian dwarf goats, 9 chickens and 2 cats! I am passionate about sharing my experience and love for animals and veterinary medicine with all learners from diverse backgrounds from all around the world! If your learner has a dream to be a veterinary professional, then I am excited to help them on this first step!
