Students will participate in hands-on learning that reinforces core math topics through fun activities designed to make learning enjoyable and memorable. Classes are designed to help students improve and reinforce their math skills while having fun. Students will be assessed on the first day of class to ensure they are in the appropriate math level. CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.HSA.SSE.A.1 Interpret expressions that represent a quantity in terms of its context.* CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.HSF.LE.A.1 Distinguish between situations that can be modeled with linear functions and with exponential functions. CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.HSF.LE.A.2 Construct linear and exponential functions, including arithmetic and geometric sequences, given a graph, a description of a relationship, or two input-output pairs (include reading these from a table). CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.HSG.SRT.C.8 Use trigonometric ratios and the Pythagorean Theorem to solve right triangles in applied problems.
