Prepare Yourself to Study
Many students are told to study, however, many teachers are not allowed the time to teach ‘how’ to study. This class is not designed to assist in any standardized assessment but to support the everyday learner in classroom assessments.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Massachusetts Teaching Certificate in Special Education
Throughout my life I was given little advice on how to study a subject for a test in school. I had struggled as a student who was diagnosed with ADD, Dyslexia, and anxiety/depression. I assumed something must be wrong with my brain. How can I remember every word in a Disney scene but can’t remember the order of the planets in our solar system?!
I never truly learned how I learn until I went to college. With a Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Special Education, I was able to dissect my own mind and find out the truth about how my brain worked. Understanding that helped me teach students for over ten years how they could study and remember what they learned over time.
