In this class, students will review math concepts they were taught in second grade. In each class there will be a brief review, then we will practice problems together. After, students will be asked to do problems independently. Topics taught throughout this course will include place value, addition, subtraction, shapes, time, money, and measurement. Through the lesson, I will monitor students by looking at the work and asking them questions. I use the Zoom chatbox a lot for students to check answers.Grades Offered
I ask that students bring paper or a dry erase board to class. Please have students practice holding their work up to the camera, so that I can see it. I may also ask students to write on the Zoom screen. If you have a device that allows you to write on the screen, it may be easier than a mouse.
