Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to add multidigit numbers. Students will be able to subtract numbers with decimals. Students will be able to multiply multidigit numbers. Students will be able to multiply decimals. Students will be able to divide multidigit numbers. Students will be able to divide numbers with decimals in the dividend. Students will be able to divide numbers with decimals in the divisor. Students will be able to write an answer to a division problem with a decimal remainder. Students will be able to convert mixed numbers to improper fractions. Students will be able to convert improper fractions to mixed numbers. Students will be able to divide numbers with two-digit divisors. Students will be able to add fractions. Students will be able to subtract fractions. Students will be able to multiply fractions. Students will be able to divide fractions. Students will be able to convert fractions into decimals. Students will be able to use PEMDAS (Orders of Operations) to solve problems.
I am a certified PK-6 general education teacher and PK-12 special education teacher.
Students will not have homework. I will sometimes post optional worksheets with answers. These are created after class to meet the needs of the students.
Paper & paper or whiteboard and marker Students may also want a printer if they want to solve worksheets. Worksheets are optional.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
I will be looking at students' work throughout the class to gauge their understanding of the concept. I will also have students submit answers in the chat box.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google Slides will be used by students. Students do not need a Google account to use. This is often used in activities where students have to move items around and I want to see their answers.
