Class Experience
In this weeklong math summer boot camp class, we will be reviewing all of the following prerequisite concepts that will help students prepare for taking Precalculus. To succeed in this class, it is best for students to have completed up through Algebra II. Functions Complex Numbers Polynomials Trigonometry Systems of Equations Circles Each lesson will be taught through slides while students take down notes in their notebooks. I have a Bachelors in Mathematics and a Masters in Secondary Math Education. I have also taught high school mathematics as a public school teacher and private tutor for over 14 years.
Notebook, pen/pencil (multiple colors if possible), handouts (provided by Ms. Li on our classroom page), graphing calculator (i.e. TI-84 Plus), graph paper
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
