In this one-week intensive course, students will gain a solid foundation upon which to build a successful ( and slightly less painful) year of study in AP Physics 1 (mechanics, algebra based). Meets for 115 mins each day for five days.

B.S. Applied Physics. 8 years experience teaching high school geometry, precalculus, and physics, including AP. Routinely achieve AP Physics exam results notably higher than the national average. Over a decade experience tutoring physics, calculus, pre-calculus, geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and SAT prep. 20 years served in submarines - includes qualification as Navy Nuclear Propulsion Engineer and hours upon hours of performing trigonometric calculations in my head to avoid shipping collisions. 12 years service as an engineer for the Department of Defense supporting the D5 Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile System and its payloads.
