In this interactive ongoing course, we will explore more foundational prekindergarten and kindergarten math concepts.
Class experience
The class will begin with a question of the day to warm them up. Afterward, I will introduce the topic of the day with a mini-lesson followed by a demonstration of the concept in use. Then everyone will have a chance to do it together (depending on the activity), followed by the worksheet, and then finish with each child being able to share their work. Children should come to class prepared with a marker to complete the worksheets. Work is shared and checked and unfortunately, pencil marks...
Materials: -blocks (i.e. building snap bricks, or snap blocks, etc.) -or other items that be can be sorted by color, shape, and size or used to make patterns -crayons or markers -glue -children's safety scissors (parental guidance may be needed) -worksheets and other items sent by me to be printed (weekly)
Some supervision with scissors may be needed.
