The perfect introduction to PreK Kindergarten number sense, mental math and problem solving! This on going corse will focus on various strategies to represent and identify numbers from 1 to 10, subitizing, introduce composing and decomposing, addition and subtraction, and strategies for solving story problems.
Class experience
In this fun, interactive class, I introduce number sense, mental math and problem solving. Students will start by warming up our 'math brains' by subitizing or math song. We will then have a mini lesson that will focus on a various strategies and tools to build a strong mental math foundation.
