In this fun dino class, we will discuss five prehistoric dinosaurs. We will learn about massive meat-eating and plant-eating animals like the Dreadnoughtus, Therizinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex), and Archaeopteryx.
Class experience
US Grade 2 - 5
In this one-time class, students will learn about five extinct dinosaurs that were both extraordinary but sometimes terrifying. How much did a Dreadnoughtus weigh? How powerful was Tyrannosaurus bite and what did it sound like? Find out these answers and many more in this fun and engaging class. Since the class, is focus on letting kids explore their curiosity and love of prehistorical animals, students will be encouraged to share their knowledge and to ask lots of questions to discover...
Students will learn fun facts about the Dreadnoughtus, Therizinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, and Archaeopteryx
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
We will be talking about large Prehistoric predators’ animals in this class. We will cover topics like what they ate, how they hunted, killed, and how large they got. This could include images or short clips of animals attacking other animals with the goal to kill them, while I will not display any gruesome images, the content could possibly be scary to some children.
I do use video clips from Youtube to show the students the animals we are learning about. I will then send a follow-up email to parents that have the videos links for students that wish to finish watching.
