Algebra 3 and Trigonometry concepts are part of this course. This course is presented in 4 quarters. If you desire a semester course, please reach out to the instructor. I am a licensed high school math teacher with a Masters of Mathematics. I love teaching math and enjoy the learning journey with students.
Students should expect to spend 3 to 5 hours a week outside of class on homework.
Curriculum will be provided from the instructor. A printer is required to print notes/assignments. A graphing Calculator such as a TI -84 is highly recommended. Paper, pencil, graph paper and if desired a whiteboard, marker and eraser to work out problems. Apps such as Desmos and Geogebra might be used.
Learners will be provided assessments in the form of quizzes or unit tests. If you would like a grade for this course, please take the quizzes and unit tests, otherwise we will just use them to check understanding.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
