This is a 9 week course equivalent to a 3rd Quarter of Precalculus.This class will be intense and in depth and will provide a necessary thorough foundation for students who will take Calculus at the high school level.
Class experience
In this class, students will be taught Precalculus. In this first quarter of the school year we will cover the following topics: Polar and Parametric Equations, Vectors, and Conic Sections. The class will be structured so that each topic is a unit of learning. The class will begin with a opening activity, review of homework questions, then a lecture or skill building activity, and finally a lesson closer. Students will not be graded unless the parent explicitly asks for it. Students will be given projects, quizzes, and tests but only as a measure of progress and to gain feedback on their work.Grades Offered
