Homework Offered
Every week, I provide problem sets for students to complete on their own as homework. Problem sets are meant to take 4 to 6 hours per week outside of class time.

If you have a tablet and pen, please have that ready for class so that you can write and interact during the lesson. 

If you don't have a tablet, it is not mandatory and class is still fun and interactive and very effective without it. 

If you would like to purchase a tablet, this is the inexpensive one I recommend. It uses USB so you need a computer with a USB port (the Macbook Air does not have a USB port). The tablet is optional and not mandatory. Here are the US and Canadian Amazon links for the Wacom tablet I recommend:
