Geometry. Very Small Group.
Class experience
US Grade 8 - 11
Beginner - Advanced Level
Very, very small group of 3 to 5 students. My group size is smaller than nearly every other geometry group class available on Outschool. Based on my 18 years of teaching experience, I believe it is best for students to learn in a very small group in order to allow ample opportunity for interaction and questions. Students attend 4 hours of live on-line classes with me each week for nine weeks. When compared to other Outschool group classes, my Geometry Crash Course provides more hours of live...

Math teacher with 18 years of teaching experience including many years of experience teaching at the best boarding schools in Canada: Shawnigan Lake School, Brentwood College School and Queen Margaret's School. Many years of experience teaching AP and IB Calculus as well college-level calculus. Five-star reviews on my other AP and IB math and science offerings on Outschool.
Homework Offered
Every week, I provide problem sets for students to complete on their own as homework. Problem sets are meant to take 4 to 6 hours per week outside of class time.4+ hours per week outside of class

I provide packages of problem sets for students to complete outside of class each week. If you have a tablet and pen, please have that ready for class so that you can write and interact during the lesson. If you don't have a tablet, it is not mandatory and class is still fun and interactive and very effective without it. If you would like to purchase a tablet, this is the inexpensive one I recommend. It uses USB so you need a computer with a USB port (the Macbook Air does not have a USB port). The tablet is optional and not mandatory. Here are the US and Canadian Amazon links for the Wacom tablet I recommend: https://www.amazon.com/Wacom-Drawing-Software-Included-CTL4100/dp/B079HL9YSF/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3IATSZYVSTRY3&keywords=wacom&qid=1665503442&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjQ5IiwicXNhIjoiNC4wMSIsInFzcCI6IjMuNDgifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=wacom%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-3 https://www.amazon.ca/Wacom-Graphic-Drawing-Beginners-Compatible/dp/B07S1RR3FR/ref=sr_1_8?crid=1XJC5HJ1OEGKZ&keywords=wacom&qid=1665503486&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjA2IiwicXNhIjoiMy43NSIsInFzcCI6IjMuMTYifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=wacom%2Caps%2C292&sr=8-8
