In this Dinosaur themed pre-writing class. Students will focus on the basic skills needed to begin to write letters and numbers. Class is 2x a week over the course of 3 weeks.

Description
Class Experience
Let's get ready to write. This course is designed for our little learners who is not quite writing letters. We will be introducing prewriting strokes that in the future will lead our learners to writing letters and numbers. Teacher Lauren will be using different prewriting approaches such as • Writing on volcano squishy bags. • Dinosaur theme pre-writing theme lines. • Shaving Cream • Dinosaur themed play-doh letters. • Sand • Squeeze bottle writing • Q-tip tracing Students will be taught...
Students will learn the proper way to hold writing tools. Students will be taught basic hand writting skills.
Students will be given a simple hand out to complete. This handout will be to practice handwriting skills taught in class.
A newsletter will be provided in class with a class schedule as well as a weekly supply list. Children will need a pencil at every class. Other supplies can include ziploc baggie, paint, q-tips, a squeeze bottle, shaving cream, and other house hold supplies.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
