1 hour per week. Your homework is to get ready for the day your puppy or new dog comes home. This is what we will be discussing.Class Experience
Students will learn what they will need to do to their house or apartment before puppy or the new dog arrives. Students will learn good questions to ask the breeder or rescue group the day of picking up the new puppy or dog. Learners will be given a potty schedule they can use and implement the moment they have their new dog or puppy. I will teach on my desktop computer and I usually make google slides to share during class. I will send the slides to each learner after class. Learners will get to ask any questions during and after the slide presentation. Students will get to interact with me as much as they need to. Learners do not need any experience or knowledge and they can share what they know if they want to if they do have experience.
Learning Goals
To learn and be prepared for the new puppy or dog upon arrival. To have all questions answered and to feel confident about future care of their puppy or new dog.

Supply List
Bring to class any and all toys, feeding bowls, and collars you have so far for your new pet. You will have ideas on what you will need to get your new dog or puppy once class is over. You can bring with you to class your new collar or harness to show.

I have had numerous dogs in my life from puppy age to very old aged dogs. I have taught my own three children basic training commands for our dogs and how to care for them. I have taken my chocolate lab to the MSPCA for nose search training and advanced dog training. I recently brought home a new puppy.
