Ongoing weekly piano practice for young learners. Little pianists learn the names of piano keys, finger numbers, short melodies, rhythm patterns, and music vocabulary as they play along with the teacher and class friends.

US Grade Pre - Kindergarten-Kindergarten

Beginner Level

***This class is specifically designed for very young learners who have never taken piano lessons and have no prior knowledge of music or the piano. Parents and guardians with questions regarding placement should message me directly.

Students will learn and practice fundamental musicianship skills so that they can be successful when they begin formal music classes and lessons.

I have a Bachelor of Music degree in classical piano performance. I also have Master's degrees in music history and music theory. I have taught music from PK-12 and my experience has helped me to create classes that help learners get excited about music. I have a passion for presenting music in ways that get learners engaged in what they are listening to.

A piano to play on (can be a toy piano, electric/battery-powered keyboard, or full piano)
Access to a printer. We will occasionally have coloring activities that I will announce a week in advance.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
