In this 8-wk FLEX course, your learner will get to choose their own themed escape rooms! They will exercise their critical thinking and math skills by completing math, trivia, patterns, and logic problems. A craft inspired by each escape room will be also be completed each week to add to the fun!

Description
Class Experience
Learners will pick and choose their own escape room adventures! These fun brain breaks will help them practice and learn their numbers, counting, and shapes while the older students will reinforce what they have already learned. Fun crafts related to the escape room theme will be completed to add additional learning.
A list of supplies and worksheets will be posted at various points each week (more information will be given upon enrollment).
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents may be needed to help guide students through the escape room if they get stuck. Assistance is also required for younger learners with the use of craft supplies, such as scissors, tape, glue, paint, etc. For the escape rooms/Youtube videos, parents/guardians do not need an account to view. (Ex: A Google Slides account is not needed, you will have access through a link in the classroom.)
I have obtained permission to use the pictures, images, sounds, and music for creating my escape room slides. The math problems and stories are I wrote on my own!
