During my training for teaching the Dyslexic student, I learned a multi-sensory approach. When working with dysgraphia I use as many senses as possible in order to model the correct position to hold the pencil and correct letter formation. Letter formation is taught using a short phrase of 6 words...
I recommend that the exercises taught during our sessions be practiced at home.
