Pre-K Spanish With Mrs. Benjamin

Hi! My name is Jessica Benjamin, and I am looking forward to becoming part of your family as your child’s teacher. I have dual studies in elementary education and special education with a strong focus in early childhood education. I have worked with children for over 18 years. I am currently the owner of Arrows Learning Academy where I serve my community, local schools, and families with tutoring, Curriculum development and enhancement, and Distance Learning Education Enhancements and Solutions. My past experiences include Elementary Schools within my Local School District, Special Education, The YMCA childcare, Children’s Ministries, and being a Nanny. I also have run my own in-home day care and Pre-K program. 

 I like to have fun, help kids learn, and believe that every influence in a child's life affects who they will become. To me, the purpose of education is to excite life-long learning in every child. I believe that each moment in the day is a chance to learn something new. My goal as your teacher is to ignite a love of learning in everyday life and prepare a great foundation for the learning journey.

I strive to develop a stimulating curriculum that teaches children emotionally, physically, academically, and socially. I like to have children be active and enjoying learning. I plan to create experiences that contain materials and lessons that are age appropriate, interesting, encourage self-exploration, creates a community of learners, and promotes mastering of desired areas.

In my courses we will be covering many fun subjects and explore new adventures!

Some courses that I offer as enhancements to my core curriculum classes include:
1 on 1 Academic Basics
Spanish
Sign Language
emotional intelligence and regulation. 

 I will also offer extender courses that prior students and siblings may take to aid in their academic journey as they are going through K-12 and focuses on their individual needs. 

I am married and mom of my treasured trio! I like playing games of all sorts. My favorite movies to watch and place to vacation is Disney! I love arts and crafts, music, and chocolate!
