Hello Pre-K families! I am here to help your young learners prepare for kindergarten math. Each week the learners will learn exciting concepts such as shapes, patterns, counting, addition, subtraction and much more. This class will include engaging themed activities and games. The activities will have lots of visuals and opportunities for your learner to interact in the class activities. Below is a list of concepts we will be doing. SUMMER SESSION 2024 Week of June 2nd: Counting and Number Identification Week of June 9th: Shapes and Patterns Week of June 16th: Length and Size Week of June 23rd: Adding by Counting Objects Week of June 30th: Adding One More with numbers to 6 Week of July 7th: Subtracting One Less with numbers to 6 Week of July 14th: Different Ways to Represent Numbers Week of July 21st: More and Less Week of July 28th: Weather and Bar Graphs Week of August 4th: Number Combinations to 5 (addition) Week of August 11th: Color a Number Story Week of August 18th: Subtract and Take Away with numbers to 5 Week of August 25th: Number Story Adventure *Classes will end after this week.*
Learning Goals
Learners will be practicing pre-k standards and some early kindergarten standards in order to prepare for kindergarten.

I graduated from Salem State University with a master's degree in Elementary Education. I also have a lot of previous experience teaching learners from Preschool to 4th grade.
