Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to... - Identify major parts of the violin and violin bow - Demonstrate proper playing and rest position of the instrument - Identify and play all four strings on the violin (with pizzicato and bow) - Recognize open string letter names - Perform various short music selections - Aurally distinguish between like and unlike patterns, loud and soft, fast and slow
I encourage practicing at least 5-10 minutes a day to reinforce things covered in class even if it's just practicing with the hand motions that correlate to each string
