Description

Class Experience

This class is designed to be an engaging, interactive and fun small group class for younger children.  Content will range covering the following activities: counting with numberlines, simple addition and subtraction problems with visual manipulatives, listening to award-winning, illustrated short stories read aloud my Ms. Anu, practicing the foundations of pre-reading and additionally closing with some social time playing games of pictionary, freeze-dance or eye-spy.  The class is kept to a...

3) Subtracting with manipulative counters
4) Sounding out words
5) Listening and discussing children's literature
6) Social interaction practice
