This class is taught in English.
Students will learn beginning reading skills.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and several years teaching preschool and kindergarten.
Students will have homework. Students should practice their letters, sounds, and sight words at least twice a week if not each day. Students will have sheets in the classroom to download or print.
If your child needs help with the alphabet, some flashcards may be helpful. In addition, you may need sight word cards. I can upload digital flashcards that can be printed as well.
Learners will be assessed weekly through informal observation.
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
