In this one-time course, students will engage in interactive music making through song, dance, instruments, and games. We will use a variety of music styles such as folk, pop, Children's music, and hip-hop beats. The music games will get students interacting with each other and contributing to the group. Some activities include Hello Songs, musical stretching, stop/go/freeze games, Simon Says types games with instruments, and a musical cool down/gratitude practice. Students will be interacting with Teacher Leif and each other for the duration of the class, and will have ample opportunity to express themselves & ask questions! This course is loosely structured and highly adaptable for neurodiverse learners or those with unique learning needs or using AAC devices.

Other Details
Parental Guidance
Students will be encouraged to move and dance, which will require ample space for them to do so safely.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

5+ years experience working in education as a Music Therapist (pre-k-22)
