Pre-K & Kindergarten Full Curriculum (Ongoing Class 5 Times/Week)

In this class, students will learn the alphabet (letters & sounds) and math (numbers, shapes, etc). This will be a fun interactive class for pre-k learners and a great review for kinder learners.

Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Reading: Students will be able to recognize the letters and understand how to sound the letter a in the alphabet. Students will learn how to read letters, sound the letters, and identify sight words. 
Math: Students will be able to recognize the numbers and how many it represents. Student will learn to read the numbers, write the numbers, and know the quantity associated with the number. 
I am a certified EC-6th grade teacher in the United States and taught for over 5 years at a public school. My experience has been teaching with primary grade Pk-2nd.  I also tutor after school and on the weekends for upper elementary and middle school.  
Most assignments will be completed in class.  Resources will be provided for students to practice at home. Feedback will be provided to the parents regarding on student's progress in class. 
1. Whiteboard, paper, or journal. 2. Pencil, Markers or Crayons 3. Play Doh 4. Magnetic Letters or Letter Tiles (optional) For Friday only: I will let you know what to print for Friday's activity. 5. Construction Paper 6. Scissors (Blunt-Tip) 7. Glue Sticks or Glue Bottle
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Informal assessment will be conducted during the live classes. 
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Please supervise your child when using scissors and glue in class. (Fridays only) 
IMPORTANT: Play-doh may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease.
