🟢 Our class meets 4 times per week (Monday-Thursday)! No class on Fridays to allow students to recharge for the next week of learning! 

🟢 Each week, we will have a different science topic/theme and focus on two focus letter related to that theme. We will review the entire alphabet each reading day (Monday & Wednesday) so your learner is still exposed to all letters in the alphabet each week :) 

This class is ongoing so your learner can join any week! 📅

📆 Below are the times each day I teach this class. If you do not see this time available, that means it is currently full. I would check back each Thursday afternoon for availability for the following week. 📆

Each class, we will begin class with a greeting song, the days of the week, months of the year, and daily calendar time! We will practice our writing skills daily! This ongoing class will cover EVERYTHING your learner needs to know before Kindergarten! 

⭐️⭐️⭐️ You can join this class any week! Although, we will highlight two numbers and two letters per week in this class, we also review other letters, sounds, numbers, and math skills each week! Your learner can stay enrolled in this class all year! I also give parents a weekly PDF with a TON of worksheets, activities, links to read-aloud stories, educational videos, and more to extend our in-class learning! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We will explore letter identification/recognition, letter sounds, letter writing, tracing, sight words, counting, simple addition & subtraction, colors, shapes, & so much more! 

🗒 A few important things to note about my class 🗒

⭐️ Class worksheets are given for learners to print and complete during class. However, you can always use a whiteboard or blank paper at home if printing is not an option. Crayons, markers, or colored pencils are helpful to have on hand during class time. 

⭐️ At times, my classes highlight holidays. For example, we have holidays pointed out on our daily calendar time. I am inclusive to all types of holidays and celebrations. We also will sing to students on their birthdays.

⭐️ I will mute all students when needed to minimize background noise. Please make sure your learner either knows how to mute/unmute or I ask that you sit with them during class so they are able to share when it's their turn. It's so sad to see learners get frustrated when they cannot unmute themselves. From the teacher side of Zoom, we can only "ask to unmute" but the student will have to click the button to actually unmute themselves.

⭐️ I gently encourage my students to raise their hand or use my class signal cards (available to print on our weekly assignment PDF) to signal that they have a question or want to share something with me or the class. I want to make sure every student gets a chance to be heard and share their thoughts while still maintaining a structured and calm classroom environment. 


📚 Here is a breakdown of my class each day📚

Each class will begin with:

✏️ Monday/Wednesday (Reading Days)- Learn and practice our letter of the day, practice sounds/reading words that start that letter, writing practice, sight word of the day, and interactive "search and find" brain break for learners to find all of their favorite characters!

✏️ Tuesday/Thursday (Math Days)- Learn our number of the day, practice counting, tracing, shapes, simple addition and subtraction, and interactive "search and find" brain break for learners to find all of their favorite characters!

⭐️ Each day, students will get a chance to share their class worksheet if they would like and 1 color of the week item! On Thursdays, students may share 1 free choice item! :) 


I will incorporate songs and movement whenever possible to allow each learner to get their wiggles out! I also encourage social interactions in my classes and will gently encourage students to participate in our daily "Brain Break" times where students can share their answers to our discussion questions or answers to our "Search & Find" activities! 

Throughout our ongoing class, students will learn ALL of the standards taught in preschool (Pre-K). With a background in Special Education, I strive to meet each student's individual needs. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you have! :)
