Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten

This class is taught by a degreed teacher with over 20 years of experience in public, private and homeschool settings.  In this class, we cover one letter and theme each day.  You can join any time!

This class is taught in English.

Students will learn one letter per day. They will learn what the letter looks and sounds like.  They will also learn numbers, colors, shapes, science, and have story time.  In addition, there is a theme each day such as apples, bears, community helpers...oceans...zoo.

Homework Offered
There will be no official homework; however, you may use the Weekly Lesson plan to reinforce our learning and complete additional ideas related to our daily theme.  
Assessments Offered
The learner will be assessed informally during class by observing class participation and engagement. 
Grades Offered

There are no materials needed, however, you may choose to download and print the blank letter of the day sheet to decorate.  I will send these home each week.  You can also find and print them free from kathyahutto.com.  
I will give students ideas on how to decorate the letter each day.  For example, color letter A red like an apple and add black fingerprint ants.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
