US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
In this 26 week Prer-K and Kindergarten class learners will practice their letters (alphabet, phonics, sight words, word families, number recognition, addition, shape identification, and more. Each week students will be provided with printouts to bring to class. If you do not have access to a printer students can bring a sheet of paper and a pencil, or a dry erase board, marker, and eraser to class to write on. Each week we will learn a letter of the week, 2 numbers, a shape of the week (2D first and then 3D shapes), color of the week (9 colors) word family, and sight word(s). Students will also work on their fine motor skills as well. 📌This may seem like a lot to cover in a 2-day 50-minute class session. These classes will be packed with learning and lots of fun and students will forget about the time. 😁This class meets 2x a week. Students are more than welcome to join any week as each session is designed to be a standalone. We will sometimes briefly review what was taught in the previous week (s). ⏳*If needed a break in the middle of class will be given. 🙋🏾♀️🙋🏼♂️🙋🏻***Students will be encouraged to participate and ask questions. ❓ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 📆 2 Day Class Schedule ** Each day at the beginning of class we will review our calendar. 1️⃣ Day 1 1. Hello Outschool,
My name is Teacher LaMeEl Doss. I have a B.A. in Communications and an M.S. in Marketing and I hold a TESOL certification. I am a small business owner too. I have years of teaching experience. I have taught public speaking (grades 7-12), art (all ages), and creative writing (ages 4-18) in a school setting for 10 years.
I have taught business courses (grades 7-12) for 4 years. I have also taught a few summer courses over the years on business and marketing to middle schoolers and high schoolers. I have been teaching home school for over 12 years. Currently, for the past 3 years, I have been teaching ESL online to both adults and children.
I own a business called The Hair Bow Box. I will incorporate bow making in one of the classes that I offer. I will also teach your child how to start a business whether it is a bow making business or something else that they are interested in.
I am also the owner of Painting and Crafts an art studio that provides paint and craft kits for both children and adults.
Teaching children is my passion because they are our future and any way that I can contribute to helping them advance I am all for it. My teaching philosophy is to make learning fun. When learning becomes fun children do not necessarily feel like they are being lectured because they can enjoy what they are doing and learning. I look forward to becoming your child’s teacher.
