In this interactive class, children will delve into the fascinating world of animals that hibernate, migrate, and are nocturnal, as well as our beloved household pets. Through a combination of stories, finger plays, and engaging math games, learners will enhance their understanding of these topics while developing essential literacy and numeracy skills.Our sessions will take place in a small group setting, promoting interaction among children. I will utilize visuals from custom-made books to illustrate key concepts, making the material accessible and engaging for all learners. Learners will have ample opportunities to interact through: Games: Fun math activities related to the topics. Discussions: Open-ended questions to stimulate curiosity and conversation. Learning Goals
1. Children will develop vocabulary and comprehension skills by actively by listening to stories and performing finger plays centered around animals that hibernate, migrate, are nocturnal, and are common household pets.
Children will develop math skills; sorting, counting and patterns by engaging in open ended questions related to migrating, hibernating, nocturnal animals, and household pets.
