Students will meet two days in a row to sing familiar songs and nursery rhymes, read stories and participate in a show and share. Day 1 : We will begin the class with introductions. Name, age, favourite colour. We will sing our Good Morning song to begin the class. Discussion Song: Days of the week/ Months of the year/ Weather - followed by short discussion Action song: Nursery Rhyme: Movement song: Stand up! Sing and dance! Story: Requests: (the amount of interest in requests/teaching a song will make the time for this to vary) Every student will get one request if they choose. Filler songs/story: Should the students not have many requests I will have songs to sing/additional story to read. Goodbyes: Please bring a favourite toy, pet or game to share with the class tomorrow! Day 2: We will sing our Good Morning and Who is Here Today song to begin the class. Discussion Song: Days of the week/ Months of the year/ Weather - followed by short discussion Action song: Nursery Rhyme: Movement song: Stand up! Sing and dance! Show and Share: Each student will have the chance to show and share what they brought to class. Filler songs/requests: Goodbyes: I am flexible to adapt my lesson based on the needs of the children enrolled to provide an inclusive environment for all.
