Class Experience
Welcome to Friendship Haven Online Learning! Do you have a play-dough loving, early learner in your house? This is the perfect class for them! Topics covered in class will follow kindergarten curriculum. The teacher plans for both beginner and advanced learners so each learner benefits from class. The only material required is play-dough. This Friendship Haven class is only taught by Ms. Kathleen because she is our creative play-doh master! She is EXCELLENT and excited to meet your learners. Ms. Kathleen actually worked alongside Friendship Haven's owner, Ms. Sara, and offered unmatched training during Ms. Sara's university studies. Here's a message from her: Hello, and welcome! I'm Ms. Kathleen and I am so excited to meet you. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada with my family and all of our pets! I have been working with children in many capacities for 22 years. I am currently pursuing my Child and Youth Degree, and have recently become certified as a Child Behaviour Specialist. I have completed many child development and psychology classes in my years of studies. I have owned and operated a private preschool childcare centre for 12 years, and it has been an amazing experience that I feel so honoured to have had. I have a passion for teaching, and believe that there is no greater joy than sharing knowledge with children and seeing them learn and grow together. My classes will allow your child a chance to make new friends, ask questions, laugh, and most importantly-be excited about learning! I am so excited to have your learner along for this new experience with me, and I can't wait to get to know all of you! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Optional enrichment activities will be included each week. They are meant to help families extend learning at home easier. Learners are not required to complete the enrichment activities.

Teacher will provide honest individual feedback if requested by the parent.
