Class Experience

Hey there! I'm Miss Erika. Welcome to my classroom! I can't wait to explore the exciting world of Pre-K and & Kindergarten with your learner!

⇢ What to expect
I believe learning should be fun! I use props, pictures, songs, and action rhymes to keep things interesting! I ask questions to encourage critical thinking and reinforce comprehension. Like a traditional Pre-K classroom setting, students can answer as a group as they gain confidence in their skills and abilities.

In this class, students will be familiarized with the days of the week, months of the year, numbers 1-20, basic shapes, colors, the alphabet/phonetic sounds each letter makes, and beginner science, including what mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds are. This will give learners a solid foundation to build upon as they prepare to be kindergarten superstars!

Printable worksheet packets and coloring sheets will be provided to reinforce what was learned in class, but are not required.

Your child will need a whiteboard with a marker or paper and pencil/crayon.

1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

It's helpful for parents to be nearby to assist their child with muting/unmuting and make sure they have a writing tool and paper or a whiteboard and erasable marker handy for shapes or handwriting.
