Class Experience
Let's learn Pre-K and Kindergarten reading skills together in a fun and interactive way. This is a great class for those that know most their letter sounds, and are ready to move onto blends, digraphs, and reading CVC words and small passages. We start off class each day singing the days of the week song and months of the year song. Then we say "hi" to each other and get ready to learn. I am a state certified teacher, certified to teach pre-k - 8th grade, all subjects. I have many years of classroom and online teaching experience.
Each week your learner will be sent a classroom packet to print. I will send the packet at least 24 hours before class begins. The only other materials you may need are glue and scissors. You will also receive a practice page/activity to go along with the weekly material. This is optional but encouraged for retention.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please supervise your child when using scissors or glue.
