Description
Class Experience
This class will be a 45 minute, individualized, 1 on 1 tutoring session with your student. We will work through pre requisite skills, and kindergarten standards in reading and mathematics. I will work with your learner on letter sounds, sight words, reading strategies, and mathematical terminology and number sense. We will use the first class for informal assessment, to present a wide variety of skills. Parents will receive detailed feedback, and a plan going forward on how to best serve...
This class is taught in English.
The student will gain confidence in Kindergarten skills and any pre-requisite knowledge they need to be successful and mastering those skills.
Paper and pencil will be needed to practice letter and number writing. Occasionally, worksheets will be provided to help your learner participate and actively engage in the lesson. Printer access is preferred. Dry erase board and marker are also a great resource for writing.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
