Class Experience
In this six-week FLEX/On Demand ESL Friendly class, students will be encouraged to be curious about nature through pre-recorded videos and conversations that are encouraged in the classroom. Each week, students will be asked a question about nature and will have access to pre-recorded videos that feature nature-themed lessons, games, outdoor prompts, vocabulary, and stories. Children are encouraged to take pictures, share their work, and participate in group chats throughout the six weeks. Week 1: September 19th Question of the week: What do you see in nature? Parental Guidance
Cooking activities: during this class, we will make applesauce and lemonade. If your child is allergic to these items, we can offer an alternate recipe or activity.
This class is based on nature activities. Items such as sticks, leaves, bark, etc. may cause a rash or hives if your child is allergic. Modifications for activities are available upon request to help prevent any skin iritation.
Supply List
Most items needed can be easily found around the house, in your backyard, or at a nearby park. Supplies and materials for each week will be listed in the parent letter for the week. Any printables or PDF needed for activities will be provided each week before the day of the activity.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
